Dr. Karen Dufour received her undergraduate and medical degree from Brown University in Rhode Island. She completed her residency training at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, MA, part of the Harvard University program. Dr. Dufour completed a GI Fellowship at Yale University, New Haven, CT.

Dr. Dufour is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Her specialty areas of interest include colon cancer screening, esophageal and gastric diseases and treatment of hepatitis C.

In her spare time, Dr. Dufour enjoys golf and tennis.
