David Stair, MD has been in the practice of Internal Medicine in the New Haven area since l983. Having received his MD degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, he completed an internship and 2 years of residency in General Surgery and Orthopaedics at the University of California Hospital System in San Francisco, CA. He also completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at St Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT. In l986 he finished a one year fellowship in the specialty of Hypertension in the Section of Cardiovascular Diseases at the Yale New Haven Hospital.
Dr. Stair is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. In 2001 he became certified as a Specialist in Clinical Hypertension by the American Society of Hypertension (ASH). He has served as a member of the Quality Assurance and Peer Review committee at St. Raphael's Hospital in New Haven.
He remains actively involved in the teaching of medical students at the Yale University School of Medicine.
