Wayne S. Warren, M.D. is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in 1988 and joined Chapel Medical Group in New Haven that same year. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and an attending physician at both Yale New Haven Hospital and the Hospital of St Raphael. Dr. Warren is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Yale University School of Medicine.
His special interests include preventative medicine, in particular the aggressive treatment of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes to prevent all forms of cardiovascular disease.
As a member of the Yale faculty, Dr. Warren maintains an active teaching schedule for both medical students and residents. He has been involved in many research studies and lectures extensively in the fields of hypertension (high blood pressure), hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol), and erectile dysfunction.
