 Dr. Christine Wollschlager graduated cum laude from the College of Mount Saint Vincent and received her MD degree cum laude from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. She pursued her post graduate medical training at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City where she completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine and her subspecialty fellowship in Pulmonary Diseases.
Prior to coming to Connecticut, Dr. Wollschlager was the Director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, NY and Assistant Professor Medicine at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. When she moved to Connecticut, she became Associate Chief of Pulmonary Medicine at Hospital for Special Care, New Britain, CT.
She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Diseases. She has been elected to Fellowship in the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians.
Dr. Wollschlager joined the Connecticut Medical Group, Hamden Internal Medicine Associates in 1999. Her interests include asthma, chronic obstructive lung disease, lung infections, pulmonary rehabilitation and smoking cessation.
